Alternative Telegram client for iOS
Telegram, with more control.
Keep more of the context Telegram normally lets disappear — deleted messages, edit history, recovered media and more.
Message recovery
If Jerkgram already received a message, deleting it does not have to erase its local context. The recovered state stays readable and usable.
More than recovery
Jerkgram keeps Telegram familiar, then adds the missing layer: what changed, what disappeared, and what still belongs to the conversation.
02 / Edit history
Open previous states of an edited message instead of losing the original wording.
03 / Recovered replies
Reply after a message has already been deleted and recovered. The preserved quote remains attached to your response.
04 / Recovered media
Downloaded photos, captions and reply context can remain available after deletion.
Interface
Jerkgram stays recognizably Telegram and exposes its own controls in one clear place. This is the real settings surface — no decorative reconstruction.
05 / Closed gifts
Some gifts disappear from Telegram’s storefront before the server stops serving them.
When Telegram’s server still returns and accepts a closed gift, Jerkgram can surface it and send it. Availability depends on the server.
06 / One-time media
Jerkgram puts Save Image directly inside the disappearing-photo viewer, so a one-time photo can be kept locally.
07 / Bot accounts
Jerkgram lets bot accounts live inside Telegram like an actual session — switch accounts, open chats and talk as the bot itself.
Telegram’s server-side bot limitations still apply.Project

The latest Stable is rendered from the public release pointer and downloads directly from GitHub Releases.
The first stable release has not been published yet.
The IPA stays in GitHub Releases. This website renders the public release pointer and stores no binary copy.
Before you install
These are current distribution limitations, not hidden fine print. Know them before replacing your main Telegram client.
This is due to the way the app is currently distributed and signed.
Both apps use the same application identifier, so the official Telegram app needs to be removed before installing Jerkgram.
For example, Swiftgram can stay installed alongside Jerkgram, receive notifications, and give you a fallback if an early Jerkgram release temporarily behaves unexpectedly.
Jerkgram is an independent project and is not affiliated with Swiftgram. It is simply one possible backup client.
Installation
Use the direct IPA download above or the matching official release in @JerkgramApp.
The exact signing flow depends on the method you already use on iOS.
